American Savage requires that members max out their base at each TH level before upgrading to the next TH level.  This video explains some of the reasons why.

GoWiPe Strategy

  1. Golem on left and right edge of attack front.
  2. 3-4 wiz behind each golem.
  3. Pekka behind each corner golem.
  4. Two pekkas up the middle.
  5. 3-4 wallbreakers on each corner (watch splash).
  6. Remaining wallbreakers up the middle.
  7. Remaining wiz up the middle behind pekkas.
  8. Heroes up the middle behind wiz.

Using 3-4 wiz on each corner seals off the edges and makes all of the middle pekkas/wiz go into the base.  It's important to get the bulk wiz into the base asap to destroy cc troops when they come out (the order above is important and troops must be deployed quickly for best results).  Even better, lure and kill cc troops first.

Golems shouldn't be quite as wide as with GoWiPe or GoWi, but still try to create a broad front.  Using 3-4 wiz on each corner seals off the edges and makes all of the middle wiz go into the base.  It's important to get the bulk wiz into the base asap to destroy cc troops when they come out (the order above is important).  Uses witches last to avoid them getting into the middle too quickly and getting killed.
